Q. "If I submit my resume to you, am I guaranteed an interview?"
No. Although your background may be very strong, our clients may have requirements that do not fit your background or skill level. However, we continue to keep your resume in front of all the clients that may have the right position for you.

Q. "What types of clients do you have?"
We work with Hotels and Resorts throughout the country. This is our specialty. We work at all levels of management from the front desk manager up to Vice President of Sales and Marketing. We talk with both management companies and individual hotel/resort owners and managers.

Q. "What type of people do you recruit?"
We recruit all job seekers who have talent, experience and drive in the hospitality industry. Typically, our job seekers come from hotels and resorts but we do not limit ourselves. Anyone who meets our client requirements and who wants to work in the hospitality industry we will try our best to place.

Q. "I can't let anyone know that I'm looking. How can you keep that from happening?"
Here at Snelling Search, we pride ourselves on CONFIDENTIALITY. We do not give out names or phone numbers until you are ready. If necessary, we will call candidates at home, after hours or on their cell phone during lunchtime. We know how important it is to keep the fact you are looking very confidential!

Q. "What type of references do you need?"
We need professional references that tell not only about your character strengths but what you have accomplished. Your accomplishments should be specific and detailed to give the client a wonderful understanding of the type of business you can bring to them.

Q. "I haven't written a resume in years, do you write resumes?"
No. We typically will give you advice on what we believe you should add/discard on your resume. Clients want to see a resume that stands out, not too long, gives them more information than just 2 or 3 bullet points, and a resume that is void of errors! Spell and grammar checks are wonderful things!

Q. "How do I know you will get me the most salary possible?"
We work for both our clients and candidates to ensure a win-win outcome. We do this every day so we have become experts at it. We will take everything into account when it comes to compensation. For example, a great benefit package can be worth a lot in salary. Also, moving expenses, travel reimbursement, cost of living comparisons need to be considered. We do not want you to make a move unless the entire compensation package is what you need.
